This coffee was specially and hand produced for SK Coffee by our friends at Finca la Julia in the Valle del Cauca region of Colombia. The Tabi variety, meaning “good” in the Guambiano language, was released in 2002 by CENICAFE: a cross between Typica, Bourbon, and Timor Hybrid. The natural process is when the coffee seeds (beans) are dried inside the cherry for up to a month. In addition, la Julia will ferment these cherries before drying, soaking them for several days. All of this creates a bright red fruity sweetness while maintaining rich cocoa flavors. It's a very complex coffee!
